     The journey has begun, time to take the chance and a time for choices to be made, sides to take. The trip was long to Tiali, how long could it be, it felt like weeks, months to her, if only she knew it was only a matter of three days, Tiali was now in Retoaran territory, there was no going back for now, if so it would be an act of great disrespect, actions would taken, she was now in a tough position, doubts and worries were consuming her clarity and decisions. Lorz was at ease and calm about the return to his planet, of course who wouldn't be happy to be returning home... she was watched as the stars passed her vision, and then out of no where a thought of her father came, she started to think about him and what he must have thought of her till now, this really was the point of no return. She sensed if she did return, her father would make sure she would pay the price of her actions, Tiali caught herself taking a deep breath and holding it, slowly exhaling. Lorz watched her and started to worry about her, he'd failed to ask her about everything, would she be honest with him? Knowing Tiali, her duties came first and then personal feelings. Still he had time to ask her, and he was going to take it.


" Tiali... I have failed to ask you... How do you feel about all this... I sense you are unease about something... you are free to express what's troubling you." he expressed in a honest and comforting tone, she was touched by his concern, and so she began to express herself.


"I'm just thinking about my father and how he feels about all of this... with me, and my actions, will he ever find it in his heart to love me still and accept as his own... Will your kind be as accepting as you are with me... I've heard so many things about retoarans, and I want all that aside so I could get to know them, and hopefully end some of the tension from the past, all I ask is for us to be together, and you will be my escort, while I reside in your home world...and to be very honest..." she released a quivering sigh." I'm so terrified..." she whimpered out and took off from her seat and ran to her chamber, without realising Lorz was right behind her the whole time. She was startled when she saw felt his hand grab her arm, pushing her back to him.



"Please forgive me Lorz." she begged in tears... " I want to be strong but I feel so weak and afraid, I've never been hoset with anyone like this before." she sniffled once more. Lorz stood silent, letting her express her worries and sorrow to him, he didn't say a word to her, only consoling her in time of distress, she was very different from anyone he's ever met, it was for certain, he knew well how she was more emotional then the other grays, since of her human heritage. He knew she would have to face his kind, and there ways, he knew would have to be her protector and teacher, the ship gave the signal of their journey would be over, and would be landing shortly. Tiali had to prepare herself, for this was the first time, and in countless memory that retoarans have welcomed any from her planet, and she wanted to make the ulitmate impression. She had chosen a dress, unlike any other, a tribute to her planet, and it's art and history, she placed it on her, adorned her hair in a tiara, with earrings, made just for the dress, then she started to had her make up and jewelry, she was going to be the most adorned as she could be.



     When she had finished, she was sight to see, Lorz was speechless, he had never seen anything like her in his life, how could such beauty exist in the vastness of a space, she sat beside him with a shy smile, and waited for the ship to completely land, and Lorz exist the ship she waited for him to go before his rulers, until she heard him say...


" My people... my king... ladies of the kings harem..."


     The females smiled in acknowledgement as well as their king, they waited for him to continue... "Allow me to introduce and welcome... after centuries of separation, and at last a chance, a restart to so many years of tension, the diplomatic ambassador Tiali, Granddaughter of the esteemed and beloved Ambassador Pharohia..." Tiali exited and she practically glided to the center with Lorz, and then she bowed before the leader of Retoara, who was impressed, as she bowed the dress encircled her, making her look regal and serene before everyone.. many of the court was impressed, and astonished by her.


     Lorz was practically glowing in pride, he had never seen Tiali look so beautiful and so rare of a jewel to him, she had played out her fears and had proved of the great leader she was, her grandmother would have been very proud of her, and more. She slowly arose, and smiled. The harem of their leader was shock and impressed, they had never seen such respect giving. Just acknowledgement but nothing more, being bowed to was treat. They smiled among themselves and to there leader, there was one female that stood at the far side, which caught the attention of Tiali, how sad the female was in her thoughts, longing to be away and free. Tiali acted unaffected, and made her way to the chamber with Lorz, for the introduction. Tiali was impressed by their city and architect, the style resembles that of the orients of planet earth, but advancement of their technological achievements harmonizing with the past of the culture. She smiled when she saw Lorz removed his mask, finally she would have the chance to see his whole face, and she was stunned, he was rather good looking, by Retoaran standards, almost humanized, like her mother, but with more reptilc features of course. She found herself blushing away from him as she was a adolescent once again, she cleared her throat, and kept walking next to him. Now the moment of truth was here. Her started to pound, she felt weak, and nervous, Lorz looked over her, and sensed her emotions. He held her hand gently in sympathy.



     They entered a grand throne room, there stood there leader, his ten queens all in perfect alignment, and adorned to their fullest, each different and rare in their own style, beauty, and coloring, ranging from browns, teals, and blues, from the far side there stood many of little ones, Tiali knew they were probably his children, the next rulers of his territories...


"Welcome Ambassador Tiali, I' am ruler Morzk, keeper and protector of the Retora." he said standing in such regalness, and strength, the females themselves were infatuated, accept the one who didn't give much eye contact to anyone in room. " I know you have many issues to discuss but until two days from now, please enjoy our city and it's culture. I'am aware Lorz will be your guide while Retoara."


"You are a very generous and hospitable King Morzk, until then I enjoy to be in your company at the counsel meeting." she said polietly with a graceful bow. Lorz and her took there leave. As the doors closed as they left, his queens surrounded him, in Tiali's fashion, as well as questions as to why a grey would come to their planet, after such unmentionable history. Including his children swarming him about who was Tiali, and why was she on their planet. Except for the lone silent female, who took her leave, catching the eyes of her king. She was gentle in appearance, her skin was a golden tinted brown, her eyes contrasted with blue hues and golden yellows in her eyes, a beauty to her kind, but was sadder than any living thing on planet.


     Tiali and Lorz were walking towards his home, along the way many gave her scowls, and growls of distaste, she had finally came to face on how many of the Retoarans held on to some of the past history, she sighed and continued moving, without giving any a second glance. Lorz was now on the guard and growling back to those who came too close in a threat like manner.Many of the offspring seemed to be more curious about her, then the adults, some would try to get close, but hurry back to their mothers, squealing, and questioning their mothers, on who they were seeing.


"You would have to forgive some of my people Tiali... many still hold a grudge in their own way..." Lorz said in a apologetic tone, she smiled to him, " It's nothing to be of care for... I have a duty to fulfill and I will do what I must... even with certain obstacles in my path..." she replied with a smile, he couldn't help but smile in return.


     They had finally reached his home, it was almost equal to King Morzk palace, "You home is impressive." Tiali commented.


"Thank you... tomorrow we will begin on the reports for the meeting, and what can be done to help our two planets..." as he closed the doors, he held Tiali close, and spoke in a whisper. "When can we talk about us... where do we go from here?" he asked looking in to her eyes, waiting for a longing answer. "Lorz, you must now something... you see, this is also a diplomatic trip, and I will have to return to my planet, and if we go on with our relationship now... this could destroy everything we have been working so hard for... I don't want any scandals between us... we're together, that's all should matter for now... I promise, it won't be long..." she said with such certainty, and assurance...


Suddenly a sharp and loud knock made them alert , Lorz took Tiali behind him, and opened it, "Father? Mother?"


     Entered the home was a rough looking couple of Retoarans, Tiali was looking and observed how each in some way looked like Lorz, clearly he resembled more of his father than his mother, but in a sense who would want to, clearly this female had seen some fights and battles in her time, bearing some of the scars, their planet was known for great fights, for males and females to join in, once they saw Tiali they backed away in a disgusted hiss.

"Son... I see you have a guest with you, and a Gray at that. Have you no shame..."Lorz father growled. Then Lorz mother went in between them..."Alright that's enough." she hissed, the two males backed away from each other.


"Tiali is it?" the female asked in a huff.


     Tiali nodded with a serious face. Lorz did warn her about his parents in one of their dinners... she was prepared for some insults.


"We came to let you know were we stand, between you Grays... trust me, you don't want to cross with us..." the female hissed with her crest fanning out from each side of her head.


     Tiali gave a smirk and hinted a growl. "Let me tell you as well. Do not cross with 'me' either, we Grays might be peaceful, but when it comes down to it, I will stand my ground." she stated with seething out her fangs.  The retoaran female backed away.



"Now you know why the Retoarans wanted us to fight along side you in the first place." Tiali countered, they left in a hurry, more angered than before. Lorz was shocked to see Tiali's behavior, it was impressive.


" Where did that come from?" he asked.


"You should meet my father..." she giggled.
